What We Do
We will teach our students using the proven syllabus and pedagogies of the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) math program, at the same level and rigor as children of the similar age in Singapore. We believe this proven approach, which has powered Singaporean children the top of global math benchmarks, can help your child to become confident and advanced math learner.
An important feature of the Singapore MOE math program is the use of word problems to help students learn math problem-solving heuristics. Therefore, a key focus of Maths@Singapore is to enable our students to master the wide range of problem-solving heuristics in the Singapore MOE math program, via extensive and progressively challenging word problems. This helps our students to master and understand the applications of math not just in school, but every day situations. Through this, we want our students to appreciate that math has immense real-life value beyond the classroom, and so help inculcate a love of math that will inspire their own math learning journey.
While our program is rigorous, our specially-trained Singaporean math teachers have extensive experience teaching math to Singaporean children of diverse abilities in Singapore MOE primary schools. They are passionate about teaching math, and will systematically guide our students to progressively strengthen their math competencies, becoming confident and advanced math learners.
We will strengthen and stretch the math competencies of your child through the following
Proven pedagogies and syllabus of the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) math program. Our program will focus on helping our students master the full range of effective math problem-solving heuristics in the Singapore MOE math program. This will be through the systematic and progressive use of challenging word problems in our teaching materials and classes.
